Summer Photo Contest!
The District of Mackenzie wants to see your best work! Get out and explore our beautiful area, enjoy some amazing activities, capture some beautiful imagery, and enter our photo contest for a chance to win a prize!
Anyone can participate in the challenge, as long as the image is taken in the Mackenzie area and was taken in the summer season. The “Mackenzie area” is defined by the following borders: the northern tip of Williston Lake to the North, Pine Pass (including Powder King Resort and Azouzetta Lake areas) to the East, Mount Milligan to the West, and McLeod Lake to the South. Please include the location of where the photo was taken with your submission.

Submit your photo on LetsChatMackenzie.ca with your contact information and location of where the photo was taken. By entering this photo contest, participants are agreeing to allow Tourism Mackenzie BC to use submissions for marketing and promotional purposes.

Please note:
- If you post on a private account, we may not be able to see your submission. Private account holders are advised to submit their photo on LetsChatMackenzie.ca website to ensure the submission is received.
- Anyone who is recognizable in photographs or videos needs to sign a simple model release (download the model release form from the documents tab on the right side of this webpage.
Photos should be “natural” looking. Minor photo correction is allowed but should be kept to a minimum. Alterations to the image such as adding text, graphics, special effects, and overuse of dramatic filters is not allowed.
- Photos or videos that have no clear focus, are blurry, shaky, too under/over exposed, or of otherwise poor quality will not be accepted.

All photographers retain their rights to their photographs; however, by entering this photo contest, participants are agreeing to allow Tourism Mackenzie BC to use submissions for marketing and promotional purposes.
Selected participants and the winner will be contacted for the original file to keep the best quality, as well as their information to give proper credit and give them their prize.

Submissions will be taken today through Monday, June 12th to August 27th, 2023, at midnight.
After the contest closes, a panel of judges will choose the top 10 photos and will then repost for public voting.
